Celebrating 100+ certified buildings

We’re thrilled to announce a major milestone: Etude Passivhaus certifiers have now certified over 100 buildings across the UK. And it was 2025 that helped us reach this landmark, with a record number of buildings certified in a single year.

Passivhaus certification is more than a plaque – it’s a mark of quality, comfort, and energy efficiency. It ensures that buildings perform as designed, that occupants enjoy consistent comfort, and that energy use is kept to an absolute minimum. For us, every certification is a commitment to better buildings, lower carbon, and long-term performance.

Achieving Passivhaus standards takes collaboration. Our active certifiers Will South, Naomi Grint, and our newest member, Steven Coulsting are supported by a wider Etude team, whose quality control checks, technical and administrative support make every project successful. We’re also proud to work with external partners – Passivhaus designers, contractors, consultants and clients who share our commitment to excellence. Together, we turn complex technical standards into buildings that look great, work efficiently, and feel comfortable to live and work in.
