Agar Grove Phase 2

Etude have been appointed by Hill to provide technical support and Passivhaus designer input to help ensure the Agar Grove Phase 2 scheme achieves Passivhaus certification.

The appointment at Stage 4 included taking the initial concept and design for the project and ensuring that the technical design could deliver the required performance. One of the key challenges was how to mitigate heat loss through the ground floor slab. Etude worked with the architects and Hill’s site team to ensure the ground floor insulation strategy could be delivered practically and cost effectively. The Etude team have been proactively engaged with the sub-contractor team, providing the link between targeted performance and technical input.
