Greencore Standardisation

We carried out detailed analysis of the thermal performance of standardized units based on Greencore’s construction system.

We calculated the U values, carried out extensive 2D thermal bridge modelling and produced PHPP analyses for 6 standard house units. The analysis included the performance for different orientations and using different climate files to test the range and limits that the construction model is able to deliver.

We also created simple tools which allow the client to check the performance of a single panel or a group of different house types, or a whole development. The analysis showed that the construction system is able to meet the client’s ambitious performance targets, and the construction details and the standard house types now form the basis for their future developments.
