Pan-London Retrofit Action Plan

London Councils, which represents the 33 London local authorities, have identified seven separate workstreams where action is required to respond to the climate emergency in London. This project is part of Programme #1 Retrofit London and it focuses on housing. It is being led by the London boroughs of Enfield and Waltham Forest.

Etude have led a team including Retrofit Action For Tomorrow, Elementa and others to produce a very wide-ranging action plan, covering technical retrofit issues and solutions as well as recommendations on delivery, skills, funding and communication. The report sets out how London boroughs can work together to directly act and also indirectly help to mobilise, encourage and support other landlords and individuals to retrofit all of London’s housing. The action plan is underpinned by data for the 3,700,000+ homes developed by Parity Projects.
